Customer Reviews

What a place! My girlfriend and I were in the area and stumbled upon this restaurant, which completely made our day. Sue and Gary are absolutely great, and Sue's food is incredible. This gem is worth the drive. Places like this are far and few between, but there's definitely no one like Sue. She whipped us up the best hot brown, onion rings, and frog legs I've ever had, all the while telling us hilarious stories of her experiences. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Sue and Gary!

I absolutely love Sue. She serves the best homemade food. It is truly homemade too. We drive 3hrs just to eat here. If you pass this place up you're passing up the opportunity of a life time to have amazing food and experience Sue's spitfire presence. She's so much fun to be around. Homemade from scratch biscuits, homemade gravy, wonderful bacon, the fried potatoes and onions are amazing. Try the Goetta it's great. Make sure you stop, you don't know what you'll be missing out on.

I will definitely be back next time I'm in Kentucky! A buddy found this restaurant on the map and we were happy with our choice, Sue is a riot and had great conversation with us while we stuffed our faces, seriously one of the nicest restauranteurs you will ever meet and the cooking is great!

I can't say enough great things about this place. We stopped in with a fairly large group on a Saturday afternoon. Sue and her crew were able to get us in, get us fed and provided a little entertainment as well. The food was great, so was the service and it doesn't break the bank to eat here. We like to support these "mom & pop" type places and this one is a gem. Thank you for having us Sue. We'll do our best to get back as often as we can!

Nice small town restaurant. Onion rings were very good. Kentucky Hot Brown is a must have meal. Ham and turkey on toast covered in cheese gravy. It was filling and tasty. The catfish was good. They have specials. Service was great. You pay at the counter when done. The deserts looked great but I wasn't hungry
